I've just been called in to the boardroom and told that my job may be at risk because of the reorganisation and handed a letter inviting me to a meeting tomorrow to discuss what happens next.
So far no-one here has got away without one, as far as I can tell. I can't believe that there'll be much work done here for the next week or two...
Thus endeth the live blogging experiment for the afternoon.

I have my fingers crossed for you that things are going to work out. What a horrid situation to be in, I'm sure though that you will win through - why on earth would they want to lose someone with your writing talents!
Oh no, Pete. I know you don't exactly enjoy your job but this is a horrible thing to happen. Let's hope you can get something 100 times better.
fella, if they do do the do then it'll be the last tin of pear halfs I ever buy.
Oh lummy! Did you see that coming?
It's all the rage, these days, this redundancy lark! :o(
Thank you all. To be honest, I've been looking around for something else anyway, but I wish I'd been able to do that in my own time...
Pete I hear a company with bases all over the South might need a DBA of quality integrity and bright ideas. Guess you'd probably not consider them though !!!
